Q : What is a Doodle 'n' Stitch creation?
A : It is a unique custom made Softie (these are 3-D works of art made from your child’s or your drawings they are not designed to be used as toys). They are made to be as true to the original drawing as possible. In some instances a little artistic license may be used. I will always check with you before hand in these cases.
If there are details that are an absolute 'must' please include these when you order.
Q : What are they made from?
A : I love sourcing fabrics for the pieces due to my back ground in art & fashion. I will use high quality & unique textiles such as denim, cotton, linen, wool, felt, vintage prints & knits. The detailing & finish is important to me I enjoy working a needle and thread with absolute precision to capture all the delight found in the drawings.
They are brought to life through the embellishments be it buttons, sequins, braids or special stitches. A strong hand-crafted touch lasts forever.
Q : How much does Postage & Packaging cost?
A : Postage and Packaging is included in the price. All items will be sent by a tracked service with Royal Mail.
Q : How do I place my order ?
A : Just email me ([email protected]) your pics as .jpg or pdf.
Q : How long will it take to make ?
A : I have an estimated dispatch time of 2-3 weeks. I can work to shorter dispatch times if it’s essential! Just ask upon ordering.
Q : Do you accept all drawings ?
A : Send me your drawing and I will take a look and see if I can work with it. Send a clear .jpg or pdf of you drawing it can be colour or black & white . Drawings can be children’s or adults there are no age limits although children’s drawings seem to be the most popular at the moment. If it is the very rare circumstance I can't work with the picture I will let you know and we can work out an alternative.
Q : How should I look after my Doodle n Stitch Softie ?
A : Keep your Doodle 'n' Stitch creation at the heart of your home place in a place where it can be admired & loved for years to come.
I source high quality fabrics & make each piece to last. If you need to clean the fabric I would recommend in most cases dabbing with a damp cloth not machine washing, if in doubt just ask me.
Q : Do you have a returns policy ?
A :These are personalised items I do not accept returns. If you have any queries about your purchase do not hesitate to get in touch and we can work something out.
